I have always been an avid reader and prolific writer. My writing began in primary school when I spent my recess money to buy scribblers to write stories in, and continues to accumulate on scraps of paper and computer discs.
Life has been an education for me and continues to be a learning experience.
Some of my work has been published in such publications as Reflections, Good Tidings, Downhomer, Christmas in the Country, I Love Cats Magazine, Word, FellowScript, 53 North, Voices of Labrador, Them Days, Labrador Life and A Celebration of Poets. I have also had a song recorded and several commentaries and selections of poetry aired on CBC Radio.
The Labradorian newspaper carried my bi-weekly feature column, "InterView", for a year. Currently I edit a quarterly newsletter called The Auxiliary News for the Labrador Health Care Auxiliary and a semi-annual newsletter for the NLAHA,write a regular column called "That's Life" for Labrador Life magazine, contribute to other publications and have several other works in progress.
I have been an invited speaker for church services, Women's Groups and emcee for banquets.
