It isn't even funny
when I forget to think
I open my mouth - it's out
as fast as you can blink
Sometimes it's just the humor
or comeback or retort
other times it's more than that
the simple, honest sort
Too fast to be conniving
or thoughtless to your need
It's witty, fun - a joke b'y
a quip it is indeed!
